日本酒造組合中央会主催のJapan sake and shochu academy を卒業。日本酒、焼酎、そして泡盛を専門に15年以上活躍している。日本の自治体より招待を受け、日本ウイスキーの専門家として数々の醸造所を訪れている。
ワイン専門雑誌 La Revue du vin de France のメンバー。8か国語に翻訳され、15万部発行されたラム酒専門雑誌 Rumporter の共同創業者、そして編集長でもある。
